JAMMU: Vaishno Group of Colleges on Saturday organised their Seventh job fair in collaboration with Bari Brahmana Industries Association at Bari Brahmana Office, here on Saturday. Several renowned companies participated in the event and selected more than 300 students. Various companies conducted several rounds of interviews. Many students received on spot offer letters while some of the students have to appear for the final interview scheduled at the Company’s head office. The event was graced by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga as Chief Guest. The minister possesses the foresight and is a visionary hence envisions further growth and expansion of industries in the State of J and K. The Director Industries and Commerce Rajinder Singh Tara, General Manager Industries and Commerce V.K Behnal and General Manager (SIDCO) Vikram Gupta, Y.S Jamwal SHO, Bari Brahmana also graced the occasion as Guests of Honour.
Managing Directors of Vaishno Group of Colleges, Varun Gupta and Rahul Pathania expressed gratitude to the companies whose presence made the event a grand affair.Training and Placement Officer of the College Jatinder Kumar motivated and prepared the candidates for various rounds of interviews.
