DODA: Usman Bhadarwah and Combine Ghat registered their wins by beating Chiralla Cricket Club and Young Star Bhallara respectively in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2016 at Sports Stadium Doda.
The tournament is being organised by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda.
Earlier in the first match, Chiralla Cricket Club, batting first after winning the toss, set a target of 119 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 18 overs. Ranjeet and Amit scored 20 and 17 runs respectively. For Usman Bhadarwah, Junaid picked four wickets while Khurshid took two.
In reply, Usman Bhadarwah managed to chase the target in 12.2 overs for the loss of two wickets. Sajid was the top scorer with 27 runs while Ashfaq contributed 23 runs for the team. For Chiralla Cricket Club, Anoop and Rohit shared one wicket each.
Junaid of Usman Bhadarwah was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance.
In another match, Young Star Bharalla, batting first, score 114 runs for the loss of ten wickets in 17.4 overs. Umesh with 23 and Rajesh 19 runs were the main scorers. For Combine Ghat, Imran Tantray clinched five wickets while Kashif and Majid Wani shared two each. In reply, Combine Ghat managed to achieve the target in 10.5 overs for the loss of four wickets. Majid played a fine inning of 45 runs while Suhain contributed 24 runs. For Young Star Bharalla, Swinke took three wickets and Sumit picked one. Imran Tantray was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance.
The matchers were officiated by Aayush Sharma, Noushair Batt, Bharat Jajuriya and Munish Zutshi as Umpires whereas Rinku Bhaduria act as Scorer.
