UDHAMPUR: The Committee members of Udhampur Table Tennis Academy expressed their anguish towards the J&K State Sports Council and Sports Ministry. Addressing media persons, Tarun said that it is a matter of concern that the DPR of Rs 76 lakh had been prepared and sent to the concern authorities of Indoor Sports Stadium Udhampur.
He added that Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh also sactioned Rs 40 lakh for synthetic/wooden flooring and lighting of Indoor Sports Complex Udhampur, thus there is a large difference of Rs 36 lakh. Citing that J&K Sports Minister Imran Raza Ansari in recent Assembly session has given assurance that the project will be completed in September 2016, Tarun warned sports ministry to stick to their words and if there will be any delay in the work, they should get ready to face a protest.
