SRINAGAR: Minister of State for Power, Vikar Rasool said that improvement of LT and HT network is being carried out under HT/LT improvement scheme in the State adding that in this regard Rs 1 crore to each district was released during last financial year. He said that improvement of power infrastructure has been taken up under R-APDRP in all towns of the State.
Replying to a question by Mohammad Irfan Shah in the Legislative Assembly, the minister informed that Rs 14 lakh have been expended on HT/LT improvement in Batmaloo Constituency during last financial year.
The minister further said that up-gradation of power infrastructure in developing colonies of Srinagar city are being covered under R-APDRP, for which the works have already been allotted.
Legislators, Ashwani Kumar Sharma and Ashok Kumar Sharma raised supplementaries and demanded upgradation of power scenario in their constituencies.
