JAMMU: Unique Public Higher Secondary School lifted trophy of the Kabaddi Tournament organised by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the memory of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra at SOS International School, which concluded here on Tuesday. In the final played today, Unique Public Higher Secondary School outplayed Vishwya Bharti Higher Secondary School while the third place was secured jointly by SOS Junior and Government High School, Akalpur. A total of twenty teams participated in the tournament. In the closing ceremony, BJP State President and MLA, Sat Sharma was the chief guest who gave away tournament trophy to the wining team and distributed mementos and medals to the runner up and those who attained third place.
Sat, while congratulating the winners, said that the party has dedicated the 133rd Birth Anniversary of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra to sports activities as he himself was a football player and wanted to introduce the youth with sports. BJP leaders from Jammu West District including Ayodhya Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma, Prem Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Neeraj Gupta, Ravikant, Jaswinder Kour, Sat Pal Karlupia, Gurcharan Singh, Dr. Akshay, N.D Rajwal, Rajesh Gupta and Jeet Angral were also present.
