Unemployed youth hold protest

UDHAMPUR: A large number of unemployed youth held a protest outside the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Udhampur to show resentment against the Govt. for not paying attention towards their demands.
Youth led by Senior Congress Leader Sayed Shakeel Shah assembled at Bus Stand Udhampur and took a protest rally which passed through main streets and Chowks of the town.
They raised slogans against government for not giving them employment in government as well as corporate sector. Shah expressed great concern towards private company which is constructing four lane highway Udhampur to Ramban and is not giving opportunity to the unemployed youths in said projects. He said that Govt. has failed to fulfill their commitments and not paying proper attention towards their miseries. Later Shah submitted a memorandum to ADC Udhampur for positive solution in favour of youth.
