Unfortunate incidents in Kashmir never stop although we all pray that peace should prevail in the beautiful Valley but somehow, something untoward happens that sinks the heart of people who love this land. After nature’s fury, the recent incident of killing of youths by the army is quite unacceptable and shameful. No civilised nation will appreciate this incident to ever happen and no peace loving citizen of any nation, creed or religion will advocate this inhuman activity.Army which is known for its discipline can never appreciate or defend this incident where civilians are brutally killed.It is the right decision on the part of army to take responsibility of such inhuman act and punish the culprits and maintain the dignity of a disciplined organisation of the nation.We all are waiting for the culprits to be punished so that the tradition of accountability is maintained .One has to show the courage and oppose the wrong doers without any bias or partiality. But having said all this there are mischief mongers who are always there to create tension and spread hatred by highlighting this incident as if it was a conspiracy hatched against Kashmiris.The mindset which is full of poison is to show the world that whole India with its army wants the Kashmiris to be murdered.They have forgotten that it was the army that saved a number of lives during floods although they claim that it was a media exhibition.National media is pro India and shows positive side of army but same can be said about local media in Kashmir which always spreads rumours and shows dark side of army and ignore progressive work done by any national organisation.Bias and partiality exists on both sides.
Local media in nineties never had the courage to high light the suffering of Kashmiri Pandits who were too brutally mascaraed by militants.They even served as mouth piece and carried letters and articles of terrorists where KPS were given notices to leave.No kashmiri pointed figures on local media at that time or they lacked courage to do that then why are now they targeting Indian media about an incident when army has already taken responsibility for this unholy act.The policy to show Indian Army is a strategic conspiracy of terrorist supporters in Kashmir and they always desire these things to happen to spread the vemon as this suits their agenda.Media is baised in Kashmir and has always spread communal mindset.Going through some of the articles in the leading publications in Kashmir they show how anti national sentiments are show cased by so called intellectuals .Killing of innocents is the worst thing to happen in any nation but projecting that this was a strategy is unfortunate to think.If a Kashmiri youth is killed or an Iranian woman hanged or a Briton journalist murdered by ISIS , we all need to appose these unholy incidents as wrong is wrong who so ever is involved.
