UDHMAPUR: District level Inter-Zonal Inter-School Tournament for under-14 and under-17 (Boys and Girls) of Zone Udhampur in the disciplines Badminton and Table Tennis got underway at Mini Stadium, here on Tuesday.
Sunil Singh Sambyal, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Udhampur was the Chief Guest in the District Level Badminton tournament.
The tournament is being organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports Udhampur under the patronage of Navin Agarwal, Director General Youth Services and Sports, J and K and the overall supervision of Sunil Singh Sambyal.
Physical Education Master, Des Raj distributed the prizes among the winner and runner up teams.
The matches were officiated by Ajit Singh, Romesh Chander, Somdev Khajuria, Sandeep Kour, Kanchan Bala, Rakesh Sawhney, Manik Nargotra, Sunil Kumar, Bhoopinder Singh, Ved Parkash and Jyoti Devi.

BOYS Badminton under-14: Zone Udhampur beat Zone Ramnagar. Under-17: Zone Udhampur defeated Zone Jib.
GIRLS Table Tennis U/14: Simran (Happy Model HSS Udhampur) beat Sanya (KC Gurukul Udhampur). U/17 (Singles): Kritika (National Academy) trounced Samiksha (Happy Model HSS Udhampur). U/17 (Doubles): Mahak Shah and Pooja Devi (Girls HSS Udhampur) outplayed Priya and Samiksha (Happy Model HSS Udhampur).
