JAMMU: UCC Udhampur on Monday registered a three wickets win against Domana Cricket to advance into the ongoing First State level Cricket Tournament for Chief Minister’s Cup at Country Cricket Academy Grounds, Gharota, near here.
Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, Domana Cricket Club was bowled out for 70 runs in 27 overs by the disciplined bowling from UCC. Yogesh Sikka was the top scorer with 36 runs. For UCC, Ritik claimed four wickets.
In reply, UCC Udhampur with the help of Gourav Khajuria’s 22 runs could achieve the winning score in their 23rd over losing seven wickets. None of their other batsmen could reach double figures.
Ritik was declared as the Man of the Match. Yogesh Sikka grabbed three wickets while Sant Baksh and Tayab claimed two each.
