KATHUA: Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua lifted volleyball title in the ongoing under-19 Range Level Sports Festival, organised by Kathua Police under Civic Action Programme at District Police Lines ground, here on Tuesday.
In the final played today, GDC Kathua outplayed Volleyball Club Bhaiya. Earlier, in semifinal matches, GDC Kathua defeated Higher Secondary School Hatli and Volleyball Club Bhaiya beat Volleyball Club Gurha Mundian. In the last league match, Volleyball Club Bhaiya trounced Sudan Club Patyari.
In cricket, Higher Secondary School Hatli blanked Partap XI Kathua by 54 runs and Cricket Club Blahar outplayed Higher Secondary School Hatli by eight wickets.
