REASI: Two woman died while 16 others got injured when a tata sumo meet with an accident at Chorakot in Reasi District.
According to a report, a TATA Sumo (JK14A 8908) which was on its way from Dangakote towards Reasi met with an accident near Chorakot resulting in on the spot death of a woman namely Pushapa Devi wife of Parshotam Singh resident of Kothto Udhampur and injuries to 17 persons.
The injured were identified as Liaqat Ali son of Mohd, Namata Devi daughter of Parshotam Singh, Shamshad wife of Jatan Ali, Tariq son of Abdul Ghani, Santosh wife of Kulwant Singh, Shabina daughter of Liaqat Ali, Chamail Singh son of Amar Nath, Jagdish Singh son of Badri, Arsha Bibi wife Jatan Mohd, Kulwant Singh son of Krishan, Mohd. Yousif son of Gulam Hussain, Parveej Ahmed son of Jamat Ali, Jamat Ali son of Bagh Hussain, Parshotam Singh son of Munni Lal, all referred to GMCH Jammu where Arsha Bibi wife Jatan Mohd succumbed to her injuries. While three injured Tamana daughter of Kulwant Singh, Astha daughter of Kulwant Singh and Javed son of Liaqat Ali where under treatment at District Hospital Reasi.
