Two villagers injured in Reasi blast

Jammu: Two villagers were injured in a blast in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir Sunday, police said. “At about 11:30 hours today, a mysterious low intensity blast took place at the residence of Shabir Ahmed in village Sarh in Mahore tehsil of Reasi district,” a senior police officer said.
The blast took place when Shabir was cleaning the junk from the roof of his house. Shabir Ahmed received injuries in hand while his brother-in-law Bashir Ahmed in his legs, he said.
The two were given first aid at Primary Health Centre Chasana and then referred to GMC Jammu, the officer said, adding they are stable. Chassana police station SHO is on spot to take stock of the situation.
