Two nabbed with 10 Kg Bhukki

JAMMU: Police on Tuesday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 10Kg Bhukki from their possession.
According to reports, a police party of Police Post Gujjar Nagar headed by Incharge PP Gujjar Nagar, Sub Insp Shariq Bhat signaled to stop one Santro car bearing registration no. JK12 5564 for checking in which two persons were travelling. The duo tried to escape from the Naka but the police trapped the vehicle and apprehended both persons. During search of the vehicle, police recovered 10Kg Bhukki from their possession which they were carrying illegally for sale among masses. The apprehended persons have been identified as Showket Ahmad Baba, son of Ghulam Hassan Baba, resident of Qadipora Budgam and Farooq Ahmad Ganai, son of Abdul Aziz Ganai, resident of Kulbugh Budgam, Kashmir. A case vide FIR No 105/2016 under Section 8/15 NDPS ACT was registered at Police Station Pir Mitha, Jammu. The whole operation was supervised on ground by SHO Inspector Javaid Malik, SDPO City DySP, Vivek Shekhar and SP North, Dr Vinod Kumar.
