MENDHAR: Two persons were seriously injured on Tuesday after an altercation between the drivers of two school buses.
Sources said that two bus drivers of Public Higher Secondary School Mendhar entered into altercation and attacked each other. The owner of the school also reached the spot.
During the scuffle, one driver namely Sadam Hussain and owner of the school Mohd Yonus were seriously injured and immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Mendhar. Since the condition of Sadam Hussain was critical, he was shifted to District Hospital Rajouri for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile, the students of the school blocked the road and demanded immediate arrest of those who attacked the owner of the school and the driver. SDPO Mendhar Shahid Naiem along with his party reached the spot and asked the students to lift Dharna and open the road. He assured them that FIR 62/16 under section 341, 323, 147 and 148 has been registered against the attackers and they will not be spared. On the assurance of SDPO the students lifted their Dharna.
