REASI: Police came across an incident of misusing a Press sticker of National TV news channel on vehicles when two youngsters broke-through a police Naka at Reasi on Tuesday.
According to a police spokesman the duo were arrested after a hot chase when they tried to escape from the check post. He said, the incident took place near Sullah Park when a rashly driven car (JK14D 1001) was signaled to stop.
Seeing the car escape, the police party at Naka chased the vehicle and managed to intercept it and took the duo into custody who were under the influence of liquor at the time of arrest.
They were identified as Dipanshu Kasotra, son of Adresh Kumar, resident of Ward No 12 Chabutra Bazar Udhampur and Vaibhav Gupta, son of Satpal Gupta, resident of 26, Housing Colony Lane No. 2 Udhampur.
After medical examination, both the boys were booked under relevant sections of law and were produced in the Court of Executive Magistrate. The vehicle was seized which was carrying a sticker of a national TV news channel.
