Two Gujjar youth booked for outraging modesty of 2 minor girls from Gujjar Girls Hostel

JAMMU: Two Reasi based Gujjar youth have been booked for kidnapping and outraging the modesty of two minor girls staying at Gujjar Girls hostel Near Residency Road in Jammu City. The girls have been recovered while both the accused are on the run, police said.
The parents of the minor girls, one studying in Class 9 and the other in Class 12, have lodged complaint with the City Police Station that their daughters were kidnapped from the hostel and then taken to Katra by two youth. The girls managed to flee from the clutches of the youth, who had come to Jammu with a motive to kidnap the girls.
The City Police has registered an FIR while both the girls have been referred to SMGS hospital for medical examination. Police teams have been dispatched for Reasi to trace out the accused youth, identified as Mohd Shakoor (25), son of Mohammed Rashid, resident of Charala Kot, Reasi and Zafar (23), son of Kasam Din, resident of Garaan Mode Reasi.
FIR 57/2022 under sections 376, 366, PASCO Act has been registered at City Police Station.
