Two drug peddlers arrested, vehicle seized

BHADARWAH: Police on Thursday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 96 bottles of intoxicants from the vehicle they were traveling.
According to a report, a party of Police Station Bhadarwah headed by SHO Bhadarwah Bandershwar Manhas under the supervision of SDPO Sajjad Khan laid a Naka at Rehmatabad near College Link Road and intercepted a car bearing registration No : JK0AG-2929.
During the search of the vehicle, police recovered 96 bottles of Instacodin and arrested two persons identified as Ishtiaq Ahmed son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat resident of Saraf Mohallah Bhadarwah and Rashid Najjar alias Raju son of Zaffar Najjar resident of Saddiqabad Bhadarwah.
A case under FIR under section 8/21/22 NDPS was registered at Police Station Bhadarwah.
