JAMMU: In its continuous drive against the drug peddlers to curb the drug menace and its circulation among the youth by District Police Jammu a police team from Satwari headed by Asi Mohd Akram intercepted a Maruti Zen bearing Regd. No. JK02AA-2903 and put it to thorough checking. During checking of the vehicle two persons namely Munish Kumar S/O Mangal Dass R/O Dogra Hall, Kachi Chowni and Imran Mohd. S/O Mehmood Ahmed R/O Gujjar Nagar were also put to frisking .During the frisking 15gm of heroin and 8gm of charas was recovered from the possession of above mentioned persons. In this connection a case F.I.R. No.9/16 u/s 8/20/21/22 NDPS ACT stands registered against the accused persons at Police Station Satwari.
The accused namely Munish kumar is a habitual criminal and is involved in several F.I.R’s of different Police stations of the city. The recovery was made by ASI Mohd Akram and Insp. Manjeet singh SHO Police station Satwari under the supervision of SDPO Gandhi Nagar Sachin Gupta , SP south Shahzad Ahmed Salaria under the overall directions of SSP Jammu Uttam chand IPS.
