SUNDERBANI: Organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports two-day inter-school tournament under the age group of 17 years in boys section began, here on Thursday.
The tournament is being held under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Rajouri, Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
A total of 180 students from 15 schools of both the Sunderbani and Hathal Zones are participating in kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball and wrestling.
The tournament was inaugurated by, Principal Government Boys Higher Secondary School Sunderbani, O.P Sharma in the presence of ZPEO Sunderbani, Jaswant Singh and ZPEO Lower Hathal, Romesh Sharma.
In the opening day, BHSS Sunderbani defeated HSS Siot by 12 points in kho-kho while HS Thandapani beat HSS Kalideh by 10 points in Kabbadi. HSS Balnara defeated HSS Bajabain in volleyball by 2-0.
