Two-Day Residential Refresher Course concludes in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: The two-day Residential Refresher Course organized by the Insolvency and Valuation Standards Board (IVSB) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) concluded on Sunday at Batra Residencies hotel, Srinagar.
The event was hosted by the J&K branch of ICAI and saw participation from Chartered Accountants along with their families from across India.
CA Durgesh Kabra, Vice Chairman, IVSB, addressed the members on insolvency and its key aspects, while CA Raj Chawla, Central Council Member, spoke on insolvency.
CA Vineet Kohli, Chairman, J&K branch, welcomed the members to the “Paradise on Earth, Kashmir” and highlighted the importance of insolvency and valuation.
The event featured esteemed guest speakers, including CA Umesh Garg, CA Sandeep Bhatnagar, CA Raghav Maheshwari, Manager IBBI, and CA S Badrinaryanan.
CA Priya Seht ,Secretary J&K Branch, skillfully conducted the proceedings on both days.
The event was also graced by the presence of CA Sourav Pargal, Vice Chairman, CA Vikas Purdhani, Immediate Past Chairman and treasurer , and CA Nakul Saraf, Past Chairman, from the J&K Branch of ICAI. CA Khateeb Yousaf, Convenor, and CA Mujtaba, Deputy Convenor, from the Kashmir CPE chapter were also present.
The participants appreciated the insightful sessions and the hospitality of the J&K branch. The IVSB, ICAI, and J&K branch thank all the participants for making the event a success.
