Two burglars held, gold worth Rs 3 lakh recovered

JAMMU: Police on Friday arrested two notorious burglars and recovered stolen gold worth Rs 3 lakh and a laptop from their instance.
According to report, on 13th November 2016, a written complaint was lodged by one Moti Lal, son of Raj Nath, resident of Gangyal regarding theft in their house and decamped away with gold weighting 15 Tolas and cash of Rs 4,000 and a laptop. In this connection, a case FIR No 100/16 was registered and during investigation the two were arrested. The burglars have been identified as Tushar Sharma, son of Kamal Sharma, resident of Kunjwani and Dinesh Kumar, son of Madan Lal, resident of Kunjwani. During interrogation they confessed about the crime and on their disclosure police recovered one Mangal Sutra, three gold chains, two earrings, two Topas, two rings, one pair of Payal and one silver ring. The recovery was made by SHO Police Station, Gangyal, Inspector Aejaz Wani and SDPO City South Rafiq Manhas.
