RAJOURI: Police on Saturday busted a burglars racket by arresting two burglars involved in various theft cases in the recent past.
According to a report, acting on a specific information, In-Charge Police Post City Rajouri SI Jhangeer Ahmed on the direction of Sr. Superintendent of Police Rajouri, Dr. Mohd Haseeb Mughal conducted a raid in the house of Mohd Arshad son of Faqar Din and seized huge quantity of stolen items which include 20 gas cylinders, two petro max cylinders, four mobiles, two bicycles, two big stabilisers, three small stabilisers, one amplifier, one speaker, one tea kettle, one car body cover, one glass set, one set of pent-shirt, two mobile chargers, 28 packets of capstan cigarette and four packets Bedi bundles.
In this connection case under FIR No 217/2015 section 454/380 RPC was registered in Police Station Rajouri and further investigation is on to unearth the nexus of these burglars and to arrest their other associates. More arrests and recoveries are expected in the case.
