UDHAMPUR: In two different suicide bids, a teenager girl and youth attempted to commit suicide by consuming poisonous substance in their respective houses in Udhampur on Tuesday.
According to a report, a teenaged girl of 16 years resident of village Kawa in Udhampur took some poisonous substance in her house. on seeing her lying unconscious her family members shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur.
While In another suicide bid a youth Ajeet Kumar son of Hukam Chand resident of village Majlata in Udhampur also took poisonous substance to end his life.
Victim was shifted to PHC Majlata where doctors on seeing his critical condition further referred him to District Hospital Udhampur. Condition of both victims was stated to be stable till filing last report.
Udhampur and Majlata Police have registered the cases and launched the investigation.
