UDHAMPUR: In two different suicide bids, two persons attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substance in their respective houses here in Udhampur.
According to a report, a youth identified as 25 years Arjun Singh son of Chain Singh resident of Kordka took poisonous substance to end his life. Victim was shifted to nearby PHC thereafter he was referred to District Hospital Udhampur.
In another suicide bid, a middle aged person identified as 40 years Ashok Singh son of Santokh Singh resident of Manwal also took poisonous substance to end his life. Victim was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors stated condition of both as stable till filing last report. Jajjar kotli Police registered the cases and launched the investigation.
