JAMMU: Police on Monday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 5 kilograms poppy straw from their possession.
According to a report, acting on a specific information a Naka was laid at Gangyal Chowk and during Naka checking, two persons Yash Pal son of Dina Nath resident of Patyari Bishnah and Sunil Raj Puri son of late Satpal resident of Ward No 1 Bishnah were put to frisking. During frisking 5 kg Bhukki was recovered from their possession.
A case FIR 50/16 under section 8/15 NDPS was registered at Police Station Gangyal.
