RAJOURI: Two persons were arrested today and 13 grams of heroin recovered from their possession.
Police laid a surprise Naka at Rotary Chowk Jammu and apprehended a car that was on its way to Rajouri. During checking, police recovered 13 grams of heroin from the possession of the two persons travelling in the car. The accused have been identified as Mohammed Ishtyak and Mohammed Shafiq Charak, both residents of Rajouri District and were taking the consignment to their native village to be sold to the youth there.
The accused were arrested and a case under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act was registered against them at Police Station Pacca Danga, Jammu for investigation.
