JAMMU: State Tug of War teams on Monday left for participation in the 16th Sub-junior and 27th Junior National Championships to be held at Dhargal in Goa from 29th October to 2nd November.
Earlier, the teams, selected by the J and K Tug of War Association, were handed over the playing kits by President of the Association, Hardeep Singh Anand in the presence of other office bearers.
The Teams:
Junior Men: Preetpal Singh, Sourav Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Sandeep Singh, Rohit Sharma, Aga Tayeed Ashraf, Aga Basit Iqbal, Gourav Jamwal, Ajay Sharma and Malkiat Singh. Ajay Sharma is accompanying the team as Coach.
Sub-Junior: Vikas Kumar, Narinderpal, Amritoj Singh, Adhar Gupta, Anubhav, Mani K Bakshi, Sourav Sharma, Pranav Love and Tarsem Singh. Gourav Dubey and Tarsaim Singh are accompanying the team as Coach and Manager respectively.
