Thane, Nov 11 (PTI) Thane Small Scale Industries Association (TSSIA) will launch a skil development programme for jobless youths from next year onwards.
The programme will be launched next year on January 1, TSSIA president Dr Appa MR Khambete said today.
The programme is for youths who dropped out from school in the middle and are currently jobless. Under the programme, youths will be given training in plumbing, mason, electrician, welder, electronic repairing etc works, he said.
It will be two to three months training and TSSIA certificates will also be provided to participants.
Another training on sewing and box making will also be organised by Chamber of Small Industry Association (COSIA) in Mumbai, he said.
