Treat Jammu migrants at par with Kashmir: Bhim

JAMMU: J and K National Panther Party (JKNPP) demanded that all Jammu Migrants from Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Mahore and Bhadarwah should be treated at par with Kashmiri Migrants in accordance with the Supreme Court order of 2011.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, Chief Patron JKNPP, Prof Bhim Singh expressed concern over the deplorable condition of Jammu Migrants whose strength is 2,200 families and 1,800 have not been recognised as Jammu Migrants which is an utter violation of Supreme Court of India.
“According to Supreme Court they were given the status of Migrants. This status has not been given any recognition by the present Coalition Government of PDP- BJP in J and K State. Prof. Bhim Singh warned the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi that incase Jammu migrants are not provided I-cards and other facilities at par with Kashmir migrants he should move contempt petition against the Government of India and sit in front of Parliament after 15 days to ensure registration of Jammu Migrants and provide them all the facilities and benefits which are given to Kashmiri migrants according to Supreme Court order.
