Trauma Hospitals to get ICU Ambulances soon: Asiea Naqash

JAMMU: Trauma hospitals in the state will soon get Critical care Ambulances and in this regard Minister of State for Health and Medical Education , Housing and Urban Development and Social Welfare Asiea Naqash today inspected these ambulances at Medical Supplies Corporation at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
The department will distribute 18 ICU ambulances and 136 normal ambulances to the trauma hospitals which is the joint initiative with MoHFW, GoI and State of J&K.
Minister said that the ICU ambulances will help in tackling emergency situation by reducing fatalities as patients will get immediate medical aid in these ambulances.
Minister also directed officials to auction out the condemned vehicles which are ling in the garage of the department.
Minister was accompanied by M D Medical Supplies corporation Dr Yashpal Sharma, Director Health Jammu Dr Gurjeet Singh, Director Motor Garages Zakir Hussain Choudary and other concerned officials.
