JAMMU: Communication and Capacity Development Department of PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control in association with Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) Hyderabad organised two days training programme on water quality parameters here at Engineering Institute Channi Himmat on Saturday.
The programme was inaugurated by Chief Engineer PHE Jammu, Sushil Aima in the presence of Executive Director CCDU, Dr. Narinder Bhatial and Director Water Resource Development Division ESCI Hyderabad, J.D Ojha. The main objective of this programme was to impart training to the people dealing with the maintenance and monitoring of water quality, so that potable safe drinking water is assured to every household of J and K.
Others present on the occasion were Er. Badyal, Technical Officer to Chief Engineer PHE Jammu, K. Maruthi Prasad and Y.S Lakshmi faculty from ESCI, Mohinder Manhas, Secretary of Institute of Engineering Jammu, Iqra Shafi HRD Consultant and Naginder Challu Accounts Officer.
