Training programme by ICAI’s Peer Review Board hosted by J&K Branch

JAMMU: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Peer Review Board, in collaboration with the J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI, successfully organized a One Day Training Programme.
This event marks a significant step towards enhancing the quality and reliability of chartered accountancy practices through peer review.
The training programme was graced by the presence of CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, Vice-President of ICAI, who served as the Chief Guest.
In his address, CA Nanda highlighted the pivotal role of peer review in maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence and integrity within the profession
The programme also featured CA (Dr.) Raj Chawla, Vice Chairman of the Peer Review Board, who emphasized the importance of adhering to best practices in peer review to ensure the credibility and accuracy of financial reporting.
Dr. Chawla’s extensive experience and commitment to the profession provided valuable perspectives to all participants.
The seminar commenced with an inaugural address by CA Sourav Pargal Vice-Chairman, J&K Branch. CA Jatin Malhotra, Member J&K Branchthen took the stage, initiating the proceedings and guiding participants through the key aspects of the subject.
Adding to the depth of knowledge shared during the event were the guest speakers, CA Kamal Garg and CA Jatin Tagra. Their sessions covered a wide range of topics pertinent to peer review, offering practical insights and expert guidance that will undoubtedly benefit the attendees in their professional endeavors.
CA Priya Seht, Secretary along with senior members and Several Chartered Accountants were also present in the training.
