Training program to enhance law enforcement skills of police officers concludes

JAMMU: The six days Training Programme for the second batch of investigating officers of Jammu district which started on January 8, 2024 at DPL Jammu concluded on Tuesday.
The valedictory function was chaired by Anand Jain, ADGP, Jammu Zone.
The training programme was started to enhance the investigating abilities and skills of the Police Officers from the rank of SPO to ASI to meet the deficiency of the investigating officers in the different Police Stations of district Jammu.
In this training programme a total of 74 Police officers/officials participated and they were imparted training by the Police officers and prosecuting officers having proven track record.
The participants were divided into 26 groups of three each and they were also given hands-on practice to investigate and write a case.
Out of the total participants, 03 were graded as ‘Excellent’, 12 were graded as ‘Very Good’, 33 were graded as ‘Good’, 19 were graded as Satisfactory, 03 were graded as Average and 04 were graded as Poor.
The chief guest complimented the efforts of the trainees and training team.
The Chief Guest distributed the participation certificates and on spot announced cash reward of Rs. 2500 to three participants who were graded ‘Excellent’ and Rs. 1000 to 12 participants who were graded as ‘Very Good’.
The other officers who were present during the valedictory function were Dr. Vinod Kumar, SSP Jammu, Ramnish Gupta, SP Hqrs Jammu Pooja Nijohn, Sr. PO, DPO Jammu and K D Bhagat, DySP DAR Jammu.
