Training on organic farming by KVK Reasi concludes

REASI: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) concluded five days long training programme on organic farming/natural farming/cow based economy/sustainable agriculture at Organic Training Centre at Talwara in Reasi District.
KVK, Reasi imparted the training on organic farming to the third batch of 30 farmers who participated in the programme. Various technical sessions were organised during this programme. The programme was organised under the guidance of Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr.P.K Sharma and Associate Director Extension (ADE) and Incharge of all the KVKs, Dr.R.K Arora of SKUAST-J. Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi, Dr. Banarsi Lal thanked the dignitaries and the farmers for the participation in the programme. Sub-Divisional Agricultural Officer (SDAO), Reasi, Mohan Lal was the Chief Guest in the valedictory function.
Dr. Sanjay Kaushal, Scientist, Gopal Krishen, Sr. Agriculture Extension Officer, Anil Suri, Jr. Agriculture Extension Officer (JAEO), Hans Raj and Subash Chander, progressive organic crops grower also spoke on the occasion.
