JAMMU: Acting on directions of ADGP Traffic (J&K) T Namgyal, SSP Traffic City Jammu Shiv Kumar Sharma directed all Supervisory Officers to ensure smooth regulation of Traffic in their respective areas of responsibility. After directions from higher ups, various Joint Traffic Nakas were established by Traffic police along with District police Jammu under supervisions of ASP Traffic City Pardeep Singh Gouria.
In South City Jammu, a Joint Traffic Naka led by DySP Traffic city south Sunil Singh along with SHO Trikuta Nagar Deepak Pathania and DTI Railways Ashish Khajuria was laid. A number of vehicles were seized /challaned for visible offences like motorcycle with modified silencers, driving without wearing seat belt, crash helmet etc.
In Jammu North, a joint Traffic Naka was established by DySP Traffic City North Shivali Kotwal along with SHO Pacca Danga Ajit Singh & DTI Old City Inspr Surjeet Kumar at Rotary Chowk Jammu to ensure smooth regulation of Traffic.
Similarly DySP City Rural Neeraj Paddyar along with DTI Nagrota Inspr Rakesh Kumar checked a number of Two-Wheelers/Mini Buses at Nagrota and penalised violators for various visible offences. The drive was launched under the overall supervision of SSP Traffic Shiv Kumar Sharma and closely monitored by ADGP Traffic J&K T Namgyal.
