JAMMU: To create whip on the traffic violators, DTI Amphalla Inspector Rakesh Kumar along with I/c PP Sarwal, SI Ashish Sagar, SO (T) Sarwal, SI Jawaharlal Bhan launched a special drive against violations of traffic norms at Sarwal area.
The drive was launched on the directions of Additional Superintendent of Police, Traffic City Jammu Pradeep Singh Gouria.
During the drive, numbers of two wheelers/four wheelers were booked under relevant sections of the Motor Vehicle Act.
“The main objective of the special drive was to make aware the general public regarding the traffic rules and regulations” said Shivali Kotwal, DySP Traffic City North Jammu.
“Such drives will continue in future also to keep a check on traffic violators especially two wheeler riders,” said ASP Traffic, Pardeep Singh Gouria.
“The general public of Jammu City are requested to cooperate with Traffic Police to bring a visible change in TRAFFIC management in the City of Temples,” said Senior Superintendent of Police Traffic City Jammu, Shiv Kumar Sharma.
