SRINAGAR: In view of continued rainfall and triggering of landslides/ shooting stones at various places on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway especially between Ramsoo-Ramban and Ramban-Batote road stretches and the fact that the retention wall at Chanderkote has given in, no movement of vehicles whatsoever, either from Jammu or Kashmir valley shall be allowed on 5th September, 2014 keeping in view the safety/security of the drivers/passengers.
Accordingly general public and transporters in particular are advised to contact Traffic Control Rooms at TCU Ramban (9419993745), TCU Jammu (0191-2459048, 9419147732) and TCU Srinagar (0194-2450022, 2485396) to get the status of the road to avoid any inconvenience.
