Tourism Department condoles demise of Mufti Sayeed

JAMMU: J and K Tourism Department, Travel and Trade Associations and Hotelier Associations of Kashmir Valley have deeply mourned the demise of Chief Minister, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed.
In a Joint condolence meeting today held under the chairmanship of Secretary Tourism, Farooq Ahmad Shah, heartfelt tributes were paid to Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and his passion towards seeing the Tourism Industry flourish in the state. “We have lost a visionary and an able guide, who cared for the Tourism industry and people associated with it” Secretary Tourism said.
“Tourism sector received his greatest attention, as he would see profound opportunities associated with the sector for the people of the state and the revival of the local economy” Shah added.
He said the vision and the mission of the late Chief Minister will be taken forward with full commitment as a mark of respect to the departed leader. The participants expressed sympathies with the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Director Tourism Kashmir, Mehmood Ahmad Shah, Deputy Director Tourism (Central), Peerzada Zahoor Ahmad, Deputy Director Tourism (Recreation), Gulam Jeelani Zargar, heads of Travel and Trade and Hotelier Associations and other officers participated in the condolence meeting.
