Toddlers’ World of JKPS Kunjwani celebrates Janmashtami with zeal

JAMMU: Janmashtami festival was celebrated at Toddlers’ World of JK Public School Kunjwani with full zeal and fervour. This festival symbolizes the end of darkness and rooting out the evil forces.
Children came beautifully dressed up in ethnic wear as lord Krishna and Radha. Songs and Bhajans related to Janmashtami festival were sung by the kids.
Children from grade I and II performed a colourful and mind boggling dance performance and held everyone captive.
Shivangani Pandotra (Coordinator Toddlers’ World) while addressing the kids spoke about the importance of the day and educated kids about the importance of good work in our lives.
According to her, holy occasions like this bring people together, inculcate the importance of traditions and signify faith and unity. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
