BHADARWAH: A toddler died after falling from a footbridge upon Halyaan Nallah near College Link Road Bhadarwah on Friday.
According to reports, at around 5:00 PM, a 2-year-old Usmaan was playing outside his house on the banks of Halyaan Nallah while other family members were inside the house when he crawled towards the narrow footbridge with no side railings and slipped into the riverulet.
Reports said that Usmaans’s father, Mohd Shafqat, realised what had happened when he stepped out of the house and did not found his son around.
The family members immediately raised an alarm and started searching for the toddler whom they found in middle of the riverlet.
The boy was immediately rushed to Sub District Hospital Bhadarwah where doctors declared him as brought dead.
