KATHUA: Police on Tuesday rescued three youths who were trapped in flood at river Ravi in Kathua.
As per the details, Police Station Basohli received information that three persons along with two tractors were trapped in flood in river Ravi at Sandhari near Hut Mashka. Reacting swiftly on the information, police team from Police Station Basohli headed by ASI Yousuf was deputed to rescue the trapped persons and their tractors.
Police rescue team with the help of locals managed to rescue all the three trapped persons. They were identified as Bashir Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed and Rustum residents of Bhoond.
