NOWSHERA : A 20 years old youth was electrocuted late in the evening on Friday while tempering with the service line.
The youth identified as Mohd Ikhlaq son of Mohd Latief resident of Dandesar, Nowshera while working on the pole to rectify some fault, received electric shock and died on the spot. Immediately on receipt of information, the police team headed by SHO Nowshera Mohd Bashi shifted the victim to Sub District Hospital Nowshera where he was declared as dead. After postmortem his body was handed over to his family members.
SAMBA: One driver of combine machine (wheat harvesting machine) and his associate were injured when they gripped under electric wire near Bhoolpur area of Supwal. Both were rushed to Government Emergency Hospital Vijaypur from where the doctors referred both to GMC hospital Jammu from both one critical told by doctors. They were identified as Jashan Kumar son of Joginder Lal from Shekhupura tehsil Sand and district Karnal and Mani Singh (21) son of Bhajan Singh (21) resident of Charag Shala tehsil Dharamkot district Moga Punjab. As police report both were busy to harvest wheat crop then the combine machine gripped under the electric wire passing there nearby.
