POONCH: Driver of a truck received injuries when the truck he was driving skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Poonch. Truck was on its way to Kashmir from Jammu when accident took place in Mirza Morh Surnkote Poonch Distt. Army Unit 16 RR shifted the injured to the Surankote Hospital from where he was further referred to GMC Jammu. The injured was Altaf Hussain son of Bahadhur Hussain. Police has registered a case for investigation.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured when their motorcycle JK02BJ-5743 was hit by Swift car bearing registration number JK02BH-5080 on Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near Barian (Supwal). Both were rushed to Government District Hospital Samba from where the doctors referred them to GMC Jammu. They were identified as Sudarshan Sharma (47) son of Thirth Ram residents of Police Line Jammu and Karan Sharma son of Rajan Sharma resident of Shastri Nagar Jammu. Samba police has registered the case in this regard for further investigation.
