NOWSHERA: Three children drowned in a Nallah near historical place of Mangla Mata Mandir, Tehsil Nowshera on Saturday out of whom one died and other two were referred to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.
The Shiksha Kender Parat, Tehsil Sunderbani brought its students for picnic to the historical place of Mata Mangla Devi Mandir and alongwith them three children of other schools also came for picnic. These three students went for a bath in the local Nallah at Mangla Devi Mandir and got drowned. They were immediately fished out and shifted to Sub District Hospital Nowshera where the doctors declared one Raman Kumar son of Bansi Lal resident of Parat as brought dead. The other two children namely Aman Kumar son of Bansi Lal resident of Parat and Karan Kuumar son of Pawan Kumar resident of Dharamsal were evacuated to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.
