Three booked for impersonation in class 10 exam

MENDHAR: Police on Tuesday foiled bid of impersonation in 10th Class Board examination and arrested three persons.
According to a report, an information through reliable sources was developed at Police Station Mendhar that some persons are impersonating on behalf of some candidates in class 10th examination being conducted by board authorities at Higher Secondary School Mendhar.
Upon this a team from Police Station Mendhar headed by Insp Abid Rafiqi SHO Mendhar and SI Javaid Manhas conducted a raid at the examination centre and after verification three proxy candidates namely Ab Qayoom son of Mohd Sageer resident of Nar Mankote, Mohd Fareed son of Mohd Haneef resident of Nar Mankote and Shiraz Ahmad son of Mohd Rashid resident of Chajla Mendhar were apprehended who were found impersonating for Mohd Aftab son of Gh Rubbani resident of Nar Mankote, Rafi Pervez son of Gh Hussain resident of Nar Mankote and Mohd Sabir son of Mohd Haneef resident of Chajla Mendhar respectively.
A case vide FIR NO 137/2017 under section 419/420 /109 Rpc,3/5 Prevention of Unfair Means Examination Act registered against them and investigations taken up.
