UDHAMPUR: In separate three suicide attempts, one youth died in District Hospital Udhampur while other two are battling for life.
According to reports, a youth identified as 22 years Narsh Singh son of Gian Singh resident of Kathar in Manwal took some poisonous substance in his house. On seeing him lying unconscious, he was shifted to nearby PHC and from there to District Hospital Udhampur where he was declared brought dead by doctors.
While in another suicide bid, an elderly person identified as Lxumi Chand son of Paras Ram resident of Kud also took some poisonous substance to end his life. Victim was shifted to PHC Kud where doctors on seeing his condition referred him to District Hospital Udhampur.
Whereas third bid was attempted by one Arun Kumar son of Bansi Lal resident of Jib by taking poisonous substance to end his life. Victim was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. Condition of both victims was stated to be stable till filing last report. However Udhampur, Rehmbal and Kud Police have registered the cases for investigation.
