JAMMU: Days after his statement that scrapping of Article 35A is in the interest of Jammu and Kashmir, BJP MLC Ashok Khajuria on Friday said that those having any problem with the verdict of the Supreme Court once it will be out, can leave the coalition.
“Whatever be the verdict of the Supreme Court on Article 35A, we will welcome it and those who will not accept it, we have to give a thought on their stand,” the BJP MLC said.
He further added, “PDP-BJP Government is intact and we will try to run it smoothly.”
“If anybody will have objection on the ‘awaited’ verdict of the Supreme Court on Article 35A and wants to leave the coalition, he is free to move apart,” said Khajuria.
He also accused National Conference and Congress for politicising the issue, which he said is not in the interest of the country.
The BJP leader also congratulated National President Amit Shah on completing his three-year in the office.
“Shah has done a great job as national president during his three year term, which is appreciable,” he said and added that after becoming Member Parliament, he can closely monitor the working of the party MP’s under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
