JAMMU: Police on Tuesday solved a theft case by arresting at desperate thief and recovered eight stolen vehicles.
As per the details, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Janipur by one person about the theft of his scooty (JK02BJ-3068). On the receipt of this information, FIR No. No.87/2022 under section 379 IPC was registered and investigation got started. After this, a team of Police Station Janipur under the overall supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar led by SHO Janipur Inspr Ajaz Haider assisted by PSI Rashid Ali Police team did strenuous efforts and finally rounded up a suspect namely Rahul Kumar alias Kaka, son of Sham Lal, resident of Chak Changerwan, Muthi, Jammu who confessed his involvement in the above case. He further disclosed that he has stolen 8 more vehicles which he has stolen from different parts of Jammu. The vehicles include motorcycle Honda (JK02BJ 8846); Motorcycle Hero Honda (JK02X 8970); Scooty Maestro (JK02BJ 3068); Scooty Aviator (JK02AW 6016); Motorcycle TVS (JK02AH 32440); Motorcycle Pulsar 150 bearing Chassis No. MD2A12DY6HCM14952; Motorcycle Passion pro (JK02AP 4690) and Motorcycle TVS Sports bearing Chassis No. HD625MF57B3E390.
