UDHAMPUR: Thappa Football Club, Udhampur on Saturday defeated APS Football Club in the district level football tournament, organised by 7th Battalion, SHQ Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Jammu at Sports Stadium, here.
In the closing ceremony, SSP Udhampur, Shailendra Mishra was the Chief Guest who distributed awards among the winner and the runner up teams.
The winning team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 20,000 while the runner up was awarded Rs 10,000.
Second in Command 7th Bn, SSB S. B. Chand , Deputy Commandant, Neeraj Thappa, PO DRDA Dr Jagdish Chander Mehra, DYSSO Sudesh Chalotra, Superintendent District Hospital Dr. Narinder Bhutyal besides other officers were also present on the occasion.
