JAMMU: Principal, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC) Jammu, Dr. Romesh Singh on Tuesday informed that 10th Interstate Dental Conference will be held from 31st October to 2nd November, 2014 at Jammu in collaboration with Indian Dental Association, Jammu branch, IGGDC and Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS), Jammu.
He said that more than 500 delegates are expected to participate in this event.
“Pre-Conference courses and workshops will be held on 31st October 2014 at IGGDC and IDS Jammu, simultaneously”, he said adding that these courses will benefit the budding dentists as well as established practitioners.
There will be scientific deliberations on the theme ‘Latest Trends in Dentistry’.
“The conference will help the doctors to showcase their talents as well as make them aware of the latest innovations and technological advancements in the field of Dentistry”, Dr. Singh said adding that the major dental products, equipments and instruments manufacturing companies are participating in the conference.
General Secretary, Indian Dental Association, Dr. Gautam Sharma said that the conference, scientific deliberations, cultural programmes, and poster presentation will be held at Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
Dr. Sharma said that team of doctors from IDA, IGGDC and IDS Sehora is working day and night to make this event a great success.
Others who were present during the press conference include Dr. Ritesh Gupta, Dr. Arvind Mengi, Dr. Rajiv Mengi, Dr. Ajay Gupta, Dr. Bhavna Kaul and Dr. Manik Sharma.
Dr. Rajiv Mengi, Oral Pathologist at IDS Sehora under the guidance of Dr. Y.K Singla, Principal at IDS, Jammu has been looking after all the arrangements at Dental College Sehora.
